Qualifications

Master’s degree in English or related discipline plus 18 graduate hours in English from a regionally accredited institution.
On-campus teaching and willingness to participate in course and curriculum design, student outcomes, and assessment.
Experience with Canvas, Self-Service, and AVISO is preferred.
Open-door philosophy and willingness to adapt teaching to student and institutional needs.
Ability to develop syllabi, learning objectives, and course outlines.

Responsibilities

Teach courses in English as assigned, including day, evening, online, hybrid, and lab-based sections.
Participate in course and curriculum design and develop student learning outcomes.
Fulfill duties such as posting grades, managing attendance, and processing book orders as required.
Refer students to Student Services as needed and engage in professional development.
Collaborate with Lead Instructor and Division Dean on instructional services.
