Job summary

Spectrum360 is seeking a Physical Education & Health Teacher for a full-time 12-week leave replacement starting December 1, 2026. The role focuses on delivering engaging PE/Health instruction in a NJ-aligned program and supporting students across ages 3-21 with diverse needs.

The ideal candidate will implement standards-based lessons, foster inclusive participation, and collaborate with teammates to ensure student growth and well-being in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• NJ DOE-certified Health and Physical Education teacher is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods in sports skills and age-appropriate instructional procedures.
• Strong team-building, interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Continuously review and revise curriculum to align with NJ Student Learning Standards and grade-level fitness standards.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials for individualized and group instruction.
• Instruct students in basic team sports techniques and recreational activities.
• Discuss importance of healthy lifestyle and regular physical activity.
• Monitor and document student participation and progress.
