Qualifications

• New Jersey Certified Teacher of Health and Physical Education required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods in sports skills and appropriate developmental instructional and group management procedures.
• Strong team-building skills, and interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials aligned to NJ standards.
• Instruct students on basic techniques for team sports and recreational activities.
• Monitor and document student participation and progress.
• Discuss importance of living a healthy lifestyle and regular physical activity.
