Job summary

Heritage Manor Care seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our post-acute care team. You will provide therapy services under the supervision of licensed therapists, document services for timely billing, and ensure care aligns with the OT Plan of Care and state guidelines.

The role requires an OTA credential, state licensure, CPR certification, and 1 year OTA experience is preferred. We value collaboration and ongoing professional development within a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• OTA must provide quality patient care under supervision of licensed therapists.
• Documentation and billing support will be performed by OTA staff.
• Maintain licensure and CPR certification as required by state guidelines.
• 1 year OTA experience preferred; prior facility experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services established by the OT in the Plan of Care.
• Work under supervision of an OTR and compliant with state and federal guidelines.
• Communicate changes in treatment to the OTR in a timely manner.
• Complete daily notes and assist with progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Submit billing, payroll, and expense docs promptly.
• Engage with patients, families and the rehab team to support care goals.
• Attend CE seminars/workshops to stay current with techniques.
• Coordinate treatment goals with team members and maintain safety.
