Job summary

St. Henry Care Community in St. Henry, OH is seeking a per diem Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support therapy services, assist the OT, and help coordinate documentation and billing.

You will facilitate Telehealth sessions, select activities, and adapt equipment while ensuring safety and compliance with HIPAA, infection control, and facility policies. This role emphasizes resident-centered care, teamwork with nursing and therapy staff, and ongoing professional development through

Qualifications

• Must possess an Associate degree from an accredited program conferring the OTA title.
• Must hold a current, active Ohio OTA license without encumbrances.
• Ability to make independent decisions and supervise others when needed.
• Knowledge of OT procedures and ability to plan, organize, and interpret programs.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and therapy area appearance at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in planning, developing, and directing therapy activities.
• Facilitate Telehealth services to ensure timely evaluations, progress notes, and discharges.
• Communicate with staff from related departments to coordinate therapy services.
• Maintain therapy documentation and ensure accurate billing on the date of service.
• Instruct and supervise residents in home programs and adaptive equipment usage.
• Support care conferences, discharge planning, and resident assessments as needed.
