Job summary

LionStone Care is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapy Assistant in Paulding, OH. The role supports the Occupational Therapist, facilitates Telehealth sessions, and ensures timely documentation and billing aligned with the Plan of Care.

The position requires an active Ohio OTA license and an Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for effective resident care and care planning.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active Ohio Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant license.
• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in planning, developing, organizing and directing therapy activities.
• Facilitate Telehealth services to complete evaluations, recertifications, progress notes, and discharges.
• Communicate with staff when planning therapy services and maintain documentation for residents.
• Ensure billing for therapy services is coded accurately and notes are completed on the date of service.
• Provide individualized occupational therapy services according to the Plan of Care.
