Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist Assistant to support the Staff Occupational Therapist with resident-related activities and direct resident care.

The role requires an Associate Degree from an accredited COTA program, licensure as an OTA in the state, and strong documentation and infection control skills to ensure compliant care and effective communication with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited COTA program.
• Excellent computer skills for data entry in Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation per facility, governmental, and payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment by following infection control, safety, and equipment maintenance protocols.
• Participate in Resident Care conferences and rehabilitation meetings as needed.
• Assist nursing with training Restorative Aides.
