Job summary

Allegiant-Carter Management is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to support Arbor Gates in Fairhope, Alabama. You’ll diagnose and repair building systems, perform unit readiness tasks, and help maintain grounds and amenities while ensuring safety and code compliance.

This full-time role requires hands-on skills in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and carpentry, a valid driver’s license, and a service-oriented approach. On-call duties including weekends may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience as service or maintenance technician in multifamily housing preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical and carpentry.
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects on requests and perform routine upkeep.
• Prepare units for leasing: pre-move-out inspections and punch lists.
• Manage materials, inventory and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Complete documentation for service requests.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; assist with safety compliance.
• On-call availability including weekends and nights.
