Job summary

BH Management is seeking a Leasing Consultant to respond to inquiries, qualify renters, and lease or renew apartments while upholding Fair Housing guidelines. You will deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers and represent the company professionally.

The role requires experience in customer-facing roles, strong sales skills, excellent organization and communication, and adherence to leasing licensing requirements where applicable; Monday–Friday schedule daily onsite

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing/customer service role.
• Demonstrated sales and closing skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people.
• Where required by law, must have state leasing license or ability to obtain the required license within the timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong understanding of the community and local market specials and floor plans.
• Process lease application paperwork for the approval of the CM and prepares new lease contracts.
• Inspect units in advance and during greeting and touring of new prospects.
• Tour prospects of vacant or model units and common/amenity areas.
• Log all prospect information and notifications into the Property Management software.
• Respond to and document emails, voicemails, and text messages from prospects.
• Stay up to date with promotions and leasing incentives.
