Equality Charter School in the Bronx is seeking a 6-8 Leave Replacement Science SPED Teacher for our middle school campus. The role emphasizes rigorous science instruction while supporting diverse learners in a caring, community-focused environment.

The ideal candidate collaborates with instructional coaches, uses data to drive decisions, and fosters student voice and discovery. Immediate start date and comprehensive benefits are included.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with co-teachers and instructional coaches to meet student needs.
• Develop daily lesson plans and use data to drive decisions.
• Lead and participate in professional development and PLC meetings.
• Maintain an engaging classroom that supports learning and social-emotional growth.
• Serve as an advisor if assigned, focusing on soft skills critical to student success.
• Complete gradebooks and comments in a timely manner.
