Job summary

Liberty FCU is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Originator to join their lending team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities will include conducting loan interviews, evaluating borrower credit, and maintaining knowledge of loan products and regulations. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of mortgage origination experience.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of mortgage origination experience is preferred.
• Excellent mathematical and statistical analysis ability.
• Ability to obtain federal registration/NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Conduct loan interviews and discuss programs.
• Evaluate credit of prospective borrowers.
• Diligently pursue leads provided.
• Contact prospective borrower leads via telephone or email.
• Understanding of Federal regulatory rules for mortgage lending.
