Odyssey Charter School is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Teacher (Grades 6-8) to cover parental leave and support middle school instruction. The role reports to the Building Principal and requires following lesson plans aligned with Delaware standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to middle school students using established lesson plans and materials.
• Follow Delaware Content Standards to maintain continuity of learning.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Monitor student progress and provide updates to the regularly assigned teacher and administrators.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assignments, and classroom activities.
