The LUBBOCK INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking a dedicated teacher to provide high-quality instruction in the core subject area. You will craft engaging lesson plans, monitor student progress, and collaborate with colleagues to meet district goals.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree, Texas certification, and demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills in a dynamic PreK-12 environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements or required training for subject/level.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum.
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate varied learning styles.
• Present material according to TEA guidelines and board policies.
• Plan instructional activities using appropriate materials and technology.
• Assess student learning and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with SPED staff to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Coordinate with staff to set instructional goals and methods.
• Supervise teacher aides and volunteers as assigned.
