East Sac Community Schools is seeking a qualified, full-time Middle School Science Teacher for the 2nd semester of the 2026-27 school year. Position may include some high school classes depending on endorsements and licensure.

Open until filled; early applications encouraged. Salary includes competitive starting wage based on degree and experience, IPERS retirement plan, health insurance, and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education required.
• State Certification as a Science Teacher or as required for position.
• Experience teaching middle school science preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teaches knowledge and skills in science in accordance with district curriculum.
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials for subject area, and translates plans into learning experiences.
• Maintains accurate records of student progress and reporting as required by district procedures.
