Qualifications

• Certification/License: 5-12 or K-8 Acceptable

Responsibilities

• Promotes a safe, conducive learning environment for individualized and small group instruction.
• Develops and translates lesson plans into learning experiences to maximize instruction time.
• Conducts ongoing assessment of student learning and adjusts methods to meet needs.
• Pursues ongoing professional knowledge and current developments in education.
• Engages parents and communicates student progress and expectations.
• Ensures student conduct aligns with school/district policies and standards.
• Collaborates with colleagues to evaluate curriculum and participates in meetings/committees.
