Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Michigan teaching certification required.
• Demonstrated understanding of current research on how children learn.
• Ability to motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction for mixed culture and ability classes.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively in English, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective instruction and differentiate to meet all students’ needs.
• Teach curriculum and administer common assessments; monitor progress.
• Collaborate with special education staff to support IEPs and accommodations.
• Participate in planning, PD, and implementing strategies with fidelity.
• Engage with families through regular communication and meetings.
