Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in subject matter preferred
• Teaching credential preferred
• A minimum of three years teaching
• Ability to collaborate with faculty, staff, administration and parents
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing
• Strong understanding of best practices in education and classroom management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in the school
• Create lesson plans and defined learning objectives, and provide support to students in and out of class
• Maintain current and detailed documentation for all students, including information related to grading, behavior, attendance, etc.
• Communicate proactively with Administration, colleagues, and parents as necessary concerning student engagement and performance
• Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques
