The Natick Public Schools seek a Long Term Substitute PE/Health Teacher for Kennedy Middle School. This position covers approximately 10/26/26–2/26/27 during the 183-day school year, at 1.0 FTE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• MA DESE 5-8 certification in applicable field and MA DESE SEI endorsement.
• Strong foundation in student-centered pedagogy and diverse learner support.

Responsibilities

• Organize and use a variety of teaching techniques to maximize learning for all students.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents; adjust instruction accordingly.
• Differentiate instruction and use data to inform planning and improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with Special Educators, ELE Educators, Literacy and Math Specialists, and Instructional Leaders to meet student needs.
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom environment and practice culturally responsive communication.
