The Pro-Vision Academy in Houston, TX is seeking a Middle School Math teacher for the 2026-2027 pool to join a campus-based team. The position is open immediately and requires delivering math instruction aligned to TEKS, planning lessons, and maintaining records to support student growth.

The role emphasizes collaboration with staff, classroom management, and ongoing professional development, with a 10-month calendar and grant-funded funding arrangements.

Formación

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Texas Teacher Certificate appropriate for level and/or subject area of assignment preferred.
• Special Ed. and/or Bilingual/ESL teaching positions require a valid Texas Teacher Certificate, no exceptions.

Responsabilidades

• Plan a program of study that adheres to the TEKS and meets student needs.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for students.
• Prepare lessons with accommodations for individual differences.
• Prepare for classes assigned and show evidence of preparation upon request.
• Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.
