Job summary

EARLY COLLEGE ACADEMY in Houston, part of Spring ISD, seeks a qualified High School Math Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to deliver engaging algebra and geometry instruction and support student growth.

The teacher will report to the Principal, work in an exempt, full-time role for 187 days, and participate in collaborative PLCs, curriculum planning, and data-driven instruction to advance district goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned.
• Minimum one year of student teaching or approved internship.

Responsibilities

• Teaches in accordance with staff assignment and designs lesson plans with goals.
• Coordinates with team members and utilizes formative and summative assessments.
• Monitors and analyzes student performance data to inform instruction.
• Implements RTO processes when appropriate and participates in PLCs.
• Uses technology to support and enhance instruction and curriculum integration.
• Maintains a positive classroom environment and supports student welfare.
