Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking Medical Assistants to provide clinical and clerical support across a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. You’ll assist with patient intake, vital signs, screenings and coordination of care in multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Currently requires MA diploma or CT CNA/EMT/Paramedic certification.
• Must maintain all required credentials during employment.
• Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic clinical and clerical support in patient care.
• Perform vitals, screenings, history taking and point-of-care testing.
• Assist providers with in-house procedures as needed.
• Handle scheduling, chart prep, referrals, and prior authorizations.
• Float to other offices based on business needs.

Education

Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program

CT CNA/EMT/Paramedic or comparable certification

Credentials maintained throughout employment
