Actalent seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Kenosha, Wisconsin. You will welcome patients, prepare exam rooms, and support clinicians with a variety of procedures and patient education.

The role emphasizes accurate record-keeping, scheduling, and patient interaction in a fast-paced clinic environment. This onsite position offers standard hours Mon-Fri, with potential for training and growth in diverse care areas.

Qualifications

• Must have Medical Assistant degree and certification, or 2+ years of MA experience if not certified.
• Experience with EMR systems and Epic is preferred.
• Ability to perform clinical procedures and take vital signs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient exam rooms and equipment using aseptic techniques.
• Escort patients, obtain histories and vital signs, and update records.
• Perform immunizations, venipuncture, urinalysis, and other procedures with proper documentation.
• Assist physicians with patient exams and procedures.
• Greet and register patients, manage referrals or authorizations.
• Schedule appointments and ancillary tests, maintain accurate scheduling.
• Handle clinic phone calls and route messages, maintain room stock and cleanliness.
