Qualifications

  • Proficiency in EHR software, basic office equipment, and professional telephone etiquette.

Responsibilities

  • Rooming and vitals: Prepare patients for exams by gathering medical history and vitals.
  • Clinical procedures: Perform basic treatments, assist with procedures, and administer medications as ordered.
  • Patient education: Provide educational materials and discharge instructions to patients and families.
  • Flow management: Maintain an efficient patient flow to maximize provider treatment time.
  • Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely entry of patient information into the EHR.
  • Prep and maintenance: Complete pre-appointment prep, sanitize exam rooms, and manage medical supplies/equipment.
  • Coordination: Schedule follow-up appointments and tests with clear patient communication.
  • Collaboration: Participate in staff meetings and training to uphold professional standards.
