Responsibilities

• A. MAJOR FUNCTION: Management of Instructional Time — prepare materials and start lessons promptly to maximize student time-on-task.
• B. MAJOR FUNCTION: Management of Student Behavior — establish rules and monitor behavior to maintain dignity.
• C. MAJOR FUNCTION: Instructional Presentation — present clear lessons with objectives and motivating examples.
• D. MAJOR FUNCTION: Instructional Monitoring of Student Performance — check progress and provide timely feedback.
• E. MAJOR FUNCTION: Instructional Feedback — give constructive feedback on in-class work and assignments.
• F. MAJOR FUNCTION: Facilitating Instruction — align objectives, strategies, and assessments with needs.
• G. MAJOR FUNCTION: Interacting Within the Educational Environment — treat all students fairly and communicate effectively.
• H. MAJOR FUNCTION: Performing Non-Instructional Duties — perform duties as assigned and pursue professional growth.
