Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Guide learning toward curriculum goals and communicate objectives to students.

• Assess student progress and provide required reports.
• Diagnose learning strengths/weaknesses and collaborate with district specialists.
• Counsel with colleagues, students, and/or parents regularly.
• Support administration in enforcing policies and maintaining classroom order.
• Plan and supervise assignments for support staff and volunteers; evaluate effectiveness.
• Use technology in teaching and learning processes.
• Maintain accurate records and reports as required by law and policy.
• Adhere to ethics and district policies; participate in school improvement activities.
• Identify indicators of student distress or abuse and act according to procedures.
