Job summary

American Wheatley in Oklahoma is seeking a warehouse associate to manage Kanban inventory, cut pipe and prep materials for welders, pull parts from BOMs, and assist welders by moving materials to their stations. The role requires operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and electric hoists, and unloading deliveries.

You will maintain inventory counts, label parts with proper identifiers, complete paperwork accurately, and cross-train in hydro testing and painting operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and electric hoists.
• Experience with material handling in manufacturing.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and adjust to urgent needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage Kanban Inventory Management system.
• Cut pipe and prepare materials for welders.
• Pull parts per bill of materials, drawings, or pick lists.
• Assist welders by moving materials to their workstations.
• Unload trucks and sign for deliveries.
• Maintain inventory count and inventory system.
• Operate pallets jacks, forklift, overhead cranes, and electric hoists.
• Secure lifting attachments when transporting pallets.
• Label and identify products with part numbers and orders.
• Complete necessary paperwork neatly and accurately.
• Cross train in hydro testing and painting operations.
• Maintain organization of outdoor storage materials.
• All other duties as assigned.
