Job summary

Orgill, Inc. in Inwood, WV, is seeking a Material Handler III to support the distribution center. You will sort, scan, stage, wrap merchandise and ensure correct delivery sequencing, while following safety and OSHA guidelines.

Key duties include reading truck load forecasts, setting up runs, operating handheld scanners, stacking pallets, loading and securing product, and pursuing power equipment certifications. A high school diploma and WMS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with WMS or other warehouse platforms.
• Excellent attendance record and reliability.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime.
• Good comprehension and organizational skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with other departments and management.
• Ability to maintain records accurately and demonstrate problem solving.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Must be a team player with a can-do attitude.
• Power Equipment certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand how to read truck loading forecast summary.
• Set up a truck run by truck load forecast summary.
• Identify and sort by customer stop code.
• Operate a handheld scanner.
• Stack pallets to avoid customer service issues.
• Load and secure product.
• Adhere to safety and OSHA standards; follow policies and procedures.
