Job summary

Orgill, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler for the 2nd shift in our Shipping Department at the Inwood, WV facility. You will sort, scan, stage, wrap merchandise, and perform duties to keep the warehouse running smoothly.

Responsibilities include reading truck load forecasts, setting up runs, loading product, operating a handheld scanner, and ensuring items are delivered in the correct sequence while adhering to safety and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) is required.
• Demonstrated attendance and reliability in a warehouse setting.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication with other departments and management.
• Ability to maintain records and meet deadlines.
• Team-oriented with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support the DC by sorting, scanning, staging, wrapping merchandise and other duties.
• Read truck loading forecast summaries and set up truck runs.
• Identify and sort by customer stop code; operate a handheld scanner.
• Stack pallets safely and load/secure product; obtain forklift certifications.
• Meet quality and production standards while following safety policies.
