Qualifications

• An Associate's degree or 60 college credits.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide for instructional needs and interests of students with daily lesson planning.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and efficient use of time.
• Demonstrate varied teaching techniques and use approved curriculum resources.
• Use evaluation to promote student growth intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally.
• Maintain fair, firm, and consistent behavior and promote self-discipline.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and community.
• Align learning with school goals and policies, following procedures.
• Assist administration and staff in fulfilling the school's mission with professional ethics.
• Strive to maintain and improve professional competencies.
• Supervise students in various school settings and maintain records.
• Monitor use and care of equipment and facilities.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Education
