Morrison Mahoney LLP in Hartford, CT is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of litigation. You will manage case files, assist with discovery and trial prep, and coordinate subpoenas, including service tracking and document production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years of litigation paralegal or legal secretary experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PDF software; familiarity with iManage.
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; professional and collaborative demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Follow up subpoenas and obtain needed records.
• Assist with creating PowerPoint presentations.
• Conduct legal research and summarize findings.
• Prepare, serve, and track subpoenas; monitor compliance.
• Assist with discovery phases: drafting requests and responses.
• Maintain litigation calendars and deadlines.
• Support motion practice and trial prep with exhibits and binders.
• Communicate with clients, courts, vendors, outside counsel.
• Organize electronic document management systems and databases.
