Job summary

Howard Community College seeks a full-time Life Sciences faculty member to teach Anatomy & Physiology I & II, and General Biology, and coordinate courses. The position requires a Master’s degree or higher in a Life Science field and at least three years of college teaching experience.

The ideal candidate will use diverse teaching approaches, engage in curriculum development, and participate in outcomes assessment and service on college committees.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Anatomy and Physiology or related Life Science field.
• Three years of college teaching experience in Anatomy and/or General Biology.
• Experience with diverse student populations and online teaching.
• Ability to develop curriculum, advise students, and participate in committees.

Responsibilities

• Teach and/or coordinate Anatomy and Physiology I & II and General Biology courses.
• Develop curriculum and assess learning outcomes.
• Engage and advise students, participate in college committees.

Education

Master’s degree or higher in Anatomy and Physiology or related Life Science field
