Job summary
Howard Community College invites applications for a full-time Life Sciences Faculty position focusing on Anatomy and Physiology and General Biology. You will teach and coordinate lecture and lab courses across Life Sciences, engaging students with diverse backgrounds and modern digital resources.
The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Anatomy and Physiology or related Life Science field, has at least three years of college teaching experience, and demonstrates commitment to teaching
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Anatomy and Physiology or related Life Science field.
- Minimum of three years of college teaching experience.
- Experience with diverse student populations and online teaching.
- Ability to develop curriculum and engage students in/out of the classroom.
- Proven use of digital resources and LMS for course delivery.
Responsibilities
- Teach Anatomy and Physiology I & II and General Biology, and coordinate lecture and lab courses.
- Develop curriculum, assess outcomes, and engage students in and out of the classroom.
- Advise students, participate in college committees, and coordinate adjunct faculty.
- Incorporate active learning and digital resources to enhance learning.
