The Department of Life Sciences (Division of Health and Sciences) is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated adjunct instructors to teach various life science courses, including lecture and lab instruction. Classes are offered in a variety of formats, including face-to-face, fully online, and hybrid modes of instruction. Weekday, weekend and evening teaching opportunities are available. Join our team of dedicated instructors to inspire and educate the next generation of scientists and to instill fundamental scientific competence in students across the college. Note that applications are reviewed periodically by department chairs and course coordinators on an as‑needed basis to staff courses in fall, winter, spring, and summer terms. Approximately 10‑30 new adjuncts are hired every year. Your application enters you into an adjunct pool that is monitored during specific times of year, not continuously.
