Indianapolis Public Library is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Programming Department at Central Library. The role focuses on gathering materials, coordinating tasks, and creating structured workflows under ARMs guidance to support library programs.

The position emphasizes data-driven reporting, attendance tracking, and preparing presentations, with a collaborative approach across locations and teams. This on-site role requires strong organizational skills and adaptability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in job experience.
• 3–5 years of experience; customer service and large-scale program implementation and design preferred.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Support workflow management for programs and events, including space reservations and logistics.
• Coordinate with internal and external customers via phone, email, and in-person.
• Create data analyses, attendance reports, and design data presentations.
• Provide administrative support, maintain files and prepare documents.
• Attend meetings, take notes, report status and milestones.
• Assist with interviewing, planning, and supervising volunteers.
• Support day-to-day office operations.
• Demonstrate proficiency with SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Canva, Airtable or similar tools.
• Handle daily work stress and adhere to scheduled hours.
