UMES invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Lecturer position to support the Construction Management Technology degree at USG, Rockville, MD. The role emphasizes teaching, mentoring, and applied research within a dynamic department of the Built Environment.

Responsibilities include delivering undergraduate courses, advising students, and engaging with local industry. A Master’s in CM or related field is required; PhD preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Construction Management or a closely related field from a US institution.
• Experience with construction mgmt software for estimating, bidding, planning, and project modeling.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in construction mgmt and related topics (70%).
• Provide service to the discipline, university, and community (10%).
• Advise students and engage with local businesses and industries (10%).
• Maintain current professional knowledge in construction mgmt (5%).
• Support student development through activities and mentoring (5%).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
