Job summary

Chamberlin + Associates is seeking a Leasing Specialist to drive occupancy and deliver an exceptional prospect and resident experience. You will manage the leasing process from inquiry through move-in, conduct discovery conversations, present apartment homes, and guide applicants through the application process.

The role requires excellent communication, the ability to build rapport quickly, and consistent follow-up.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer proficiency including email and Microsoft Office; ability to learn property management software.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
1+ years of experience in sales, retail, hospitality, leasing, or any customer-facing role.
Familiarity with Yardi or RealPage is a plus.
Experience with CRM tools is a plus.
Knowledge of basic fair housing principles.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms and convert leads into tours.
Conduct property tours that connect the prospect's needs to the community's features and available units.
Follow up consistently with prospects to maintain momentum and close leases.
Prepare and execute lease agreements, addenda, and move-in documentation in compliance with policy.
Support resident move-ins and retention initiatives; address questions promptly.
Monitor traffic sources, lead volume, and conversion metrics to support leasing strategy.
