Job summary

Weidner Apartment Homes is seeking a Leasing Consultant to engage prospective and current residents with a warm, energetic approach. You will coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue while maintaining Weidner’s service standards.

The role requires strong communication, time management, and a customer-first mindset. Expect a fast-paced environment with everyday tasks, touring, and processing applications.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Yardi/Paycom experience preferred.
• Able to communicate clearly by phone, email, and text.
• Willing to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Walk marketing tour path, open target viewing apartments, ensure clean and rent ready apartments, model homes and community amenities.
• Respond to resident and prospective resident calls and emails promptly in the morning.
• Answer incoming calls, convert phone calls into walk in traffic, set viewing appointments.
• Tour prospective residents with energy and enthusiasm the Weidner way.
• Ensure successful leasing by facilitating the application process at the end of the tour.
• Review and process all applications immediately upon receipt.
• Timely and respectful communication with applicants upon receiving results.
• Follow Weidner Move In Experience with all approved applicants; maintain and follow up on traffic in queue.
• Shop competitive properties at least monthly; adhere to daily marketing and leasing strategies.
• Ensure market ready apartments, common areas and amenities are clean and maintained daily to Weidner’s quality standards.
