Job summary

Amalgamated Management Corporation is seeking a Leasing Professional to handle leasing, marketing and resident relations for a multi-family property. You will be the first contact for prospective residents, current residents, vendors and associates.

The ideal candidate will bring high energy, a customer‑service mindset and strong administrative and computer skills to manage lease files, move-ins, and marketing tasks, while building relationships with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a Leasing position preferred.
• 1 year in a Customer Service position required.

Responsibilities

• You will be the first point of contact with prospective residents, current residents, vendors and associates
• Tour, qualify and sell the property’s features to prospective and current residents.
• Manage the leasing, closing and move in process with our new residents and current residents
• Ability to determine the customer’s needs, resolve and/or escalat(e) to a higher level as permitted
• Fostering new relationships with our customers
• Customer friendly personality as well as your ability to diffuse/resolve difficult situations while nurturing relationships
• Strong administrative and computer skills, as this position will manage various tasks, like managing lease files, updating paperwork, and completing marketing/advertising tasks as needed
