Job summary

UPPC is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as Coordinator of Middle School Ministry for grades 5–7. You will lead Wednesday Youth Group, participate in camps, and meet with students to nurture faith and community.

The role emphasizes relational leadership, biblical teaching, and partnership with families and local schools. Work involves evenings and weekends, with a 20-hour weekly schedule and a wage of $19 per hour.

Qualifications

• Associates degree; Bachelor’s in Ministry/Theology or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years in student ministry or youth program management.
• Strong biblical teaching and leadership skills.
• Ability to recruit and train volunteer leaders.

Responsibilities

• Leading the Wednesday Youth Group.
• Attend and assist in leading camps/events for grades 5-7.
• Meeting one-on-one with students.
• Attend staff meetings.
• Assist with social media posts and newsletter.
• Weekly small group connections.
• Exploring what the creation of the Youth Worship Band might look like.
• Partner with Families & Schools: Build meaningful relationships between the church, home, and local schools.
• Foster a Culture of Hospitality: Ensure every middle schooler feels seen, valued, and loved.
