Job summary

Solvus Global in Worcester, MA is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic R&D group. You will perform ad hoc testing, sample preparation, and a range of chemical processing and analytical techniques in a fast-paced environment.

Working closely with senior staff, you will help refine procedures, manage lab inventory, ensure safety compliance, and document experimental conditions and results to support engineering analysis and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of laboratory experience in chemistry, materials science, or a related field.
• Ability to manage ad hoc tasks in a dynamic, non-repetitive lab setting.
• Willingness to assist in method trials and procedure refinement.
• Strong attention to detail in recording test results and observations.

Responsibilities

• Execute chemical processing and analytical techniques (ICP, etching, leaching, encapsulation, plating, milling).
• Contribute to method trials and refine procedures when SOPs are not established.
• Maintain laboratory inventory and ensure equipment audit readiness.
• Document experimental conditions and test results with precision.
