Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar in Adrian, MI is seeking a General Utility to maintain clean kitchen areas, assist in food prep, and uphold our core values. This role supports dishwashing, line prep and general sanitation in a fast-paced environment.

You will work primarily indoors with some outdoor exposure, typically part-time hours. The position requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand for long periods and respond quickly in emergencies.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; ability to follow directions.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and pre-rinses food from dirty dishes and loads dishwashing machine.
• Washes pots, pans and trays by hand and/or machine.
• Completes prep work as assigned.
• Removes trash and garbage to dumpster area.
• Cleans work areas, tables, equipment and floors.
• Transports cases up to 50 pounds.
• Works indoors most of the time; may work outdoors occasionally.
• Responds to emergencies to ensure safety.
