Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Attorney to join its Kentucky practice. The attorney will handle a heavy and complex caseload, with opportunities to develop a statewide workers’ compensation practice.

The right candidate will have a law degree from an accredited school, active KY Bar status, and 3+ years of workers’ compensation experience, with strong client service and advocacy skills.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active KY State Bar member in good standing; multiple Bar licenses preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of workers’ compensation experience.
• Ability to manage high volume of cases and hearings.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of cases and hearings.
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents including pleadings and motions.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Interact with expert witnesses and draft reports/affidavits.
• Attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
