Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Michigan School Teaching Certificate with Elementary or Secondary Education certification.
• Math Endorsement (EX) and Science Endorsement (DX or DI).
• Additional certification in another content area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruction for assigned classes guided by district-approved curriculum with clear objectives.
• Uses varied assessment practices to evaluate students’ academic and social growth and communicates progress.
• Maintains a safe and orderly classroom environment aligned with district standards and policies.
• Follows the school discipline plan and fosters diversity and inclusion within the classroom and school community.
• Available to students and parents outside instructional hours.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the principal.
