Job summary

Fulton County Schools’ High Point Elementary seeks a dedicated Paraprofessional to assist in the classroom and media center, supporting students and staff with instructional activities, materials, and technology resources.

The role includes supervision during lunch/recess, library tasks, circulation of devices, and helping maintain displays; candidate should have basic education credentials and be able to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must pass GACE para or have 60 sem hours/90 qtr hours with a C or better; Associate's Degree or higher acceptable.
• Must be able to obtain Georgia PSC Paraprofessional Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in preparing educational materials for students.
• Work with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Assist with daily routines: distribute/collect supplies, take attendance, grade quizzes as assigned.
• Participate in lunchroom, recess, hall-monitoring, and bus duties.
• Maintain bulletin boards and learning centers for instruction.
• Support library/media center operations and technology resources.
