Job summary

Camaco is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to perform professional-level duties across HR functions including employee relations, training, and payroll processing. The ideal candidate will maintain documentation, support recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations while ensuring compliance with employment laws.

The role requires an Associate degree with 3+ years of HR experience or an equivalent combination.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a related field is required.
• 3+ years of HR experience or equivalent.
• Experience administering payroll and other HR programs.
• PHR/SPHR certification is preferred for this role.
• Automotive manufacturing HR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains employee and applicant documentation per governing agencies.
• Manages and tracks disciplinary actions.
• Assists with recruitment and onboarding tasks.
• Administers health and welfare plans participation where applicable.
• Distributes and monitors performance evaluations.
• Maintains employee records and I-9 compliance audits as needed.
• Supports timekeeping and payroll processes.
• Coordinates employee recognition programs and events.
• Provides administrative support to HR functions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
