Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group seeks a dynamic Sales Manager to drive hotel sales and cultivate key accounts. You will learn brand strategy, grow loyalty, and solicit new business through calls, tours, and events, while negotiating terms to meet revenue targets.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of a High School diploma and at least two years in hotel service or sales. This role offers a comprehensive benefits package and room for career advancement within SHG.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School education; post-high school preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years in hotel service role or sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn the hotel brand and strategy.
• Drive customer loyalty by delivering service excellence in every experience.
• Identify and solicit new accounts via telemarketing, appointments, site tours, cold calls, and inquiries.
• Advise clients on hotel facilities and services when proposing groups or events.
• Build a client base of organizations through direct sales to secure business.
• Negotiate food & beverage, function space, room rates, and hotel services to meet goals.
• Meet or exceed predetermined sales goals for revenue and activity.
• Negotiate contracts per company standards.
• Complete solicitation, closing, and communications documentation.
• Conduct tours of hotel and banquet facilities and entertain qualified clients.
• Respond promptly to requests for proposals and information.
• Complete reports as directed by DOS/GM.
• Support quarterly/annual business and marketing plans; assist with budget.
