Qualifications

• Previous teaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GCPS AKS curriculum and alignment with standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan learning experiences based on AKS curriculum and create a supportive classroom environment.
• Demonstrate command of subject and plan objectives aligned to AKS.
• Identify prerequisite skills and plan instruction to promote mastery.
• Analyze student work to determine instructional needs and provide feedback.
• Prepare written lesson plans supporting AKS objectives for all students.
• Plan appropriate assessments of student learning and monitor progress.
