Job summary

Irving Independent School District is seeking a qualified Teacher to provide engaging instruction in core subjects and support student growth across cognitive, emotional, and social development.

The teacher will plan lessons, monitor progress, collaborate with staff, and integrate technology. Requires Texas certification and a bachelor’s degree; Reading Academy completion for Elementary is required, ESL certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate for the assigned subject/level.
• Completion of Texas Reading Academy required for Elementary.
• ESL supplemental certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum plans and show prep evidence.
• Present material per TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Use data to plan instruction and accommodate diverse learners.
• Collaborate with special ed staff to adjust curricula per IEP.
• Supervise aides/volunteers and coordinate classroom activities.
• Utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning.
