Job summary

Marjorie Williams Academy is seeking a highly engaged High School Mathematics Teacher to deliver standards-based instruction aligned with the NC Standard Course of Study. The role emphasizes problem-solving, accessibility for diverse learners, and a collaborative school culture in a rural charter setting.

You will plan, implement, and assess rigorous math lessons, integrate Desmos and graphing calculators, and monitor student progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or related field.
• NC Mathematics teaching license in NC (9–12) preferred.
• Experience with MTSS/IEP/504 supports is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver standards-based math instruction for high school.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learners including IEP/504/EL students.
• Prepare students for NC End-of-Course exams and final assessments.
• Maintain grades, attendance, and behavioral records in the student information system.
• Collaborate with staff and participate in campus duties as needed.
