Job summary

Abington Heights School District is seeking a Secondary Mathematics Teacher for high school (grades 9-12) on a long-term substitute basis. The assignment runs from December 16, 2026 to March 24, 2027 (62 work days) with a prorated Step 1/BS salary of $63,992.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality instruction aligned with Pennsylvania Core Standards and developing students' fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Certification/License: Valid Pennsylvania Instructional I or II Certificate in Mathematics 7-12 (#6800).
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Secondary Education Mathematics.
• Successful prior teaching experience preferred.
